The paper is wet,
and ink smeared,
what just went?
the page wept?
I can't remember
what just happened
I had a paper
and something I penned.
All I remember is her smile,
her naughty eyes,
her whispering lips,
her promise to text me,
when she hugged me bye.
A kick is all you need,
when you don't succeed,
when victory is your habit,
where no-one to compete.
High above the clouds,
Seeming tiny peaks,
Beneath is a city,
A forest of cement,
But a temple itself,
The city of Kathmandu.
A long time has passed,
Yup, a long time,
Completed an era,
Finished my schooling,
“life starts now” exactly describes,
The excitement I am captured in.
Just for a moment,
everything is still,
that falling weathered leaf,
paused in mid-air.
That tiny insect,
crawling on my chair.
No blowing wind,
no chirping birds,
nothing is moving,
even the drops,
floating in mid-air,
like tiny pearls.
Tonight, there is lot to write,
you in my arms,
lost in dreams,
shut eyes and cute smiles.
Sometimes you cuddle,
or hold my hand,
or just take a turn,
a move so subtle.
No one, just a dark alley,
walking along the pedestal, you and me.
All silent, just the wind,
and you by my side.
I love this chill,
as it brings you close,
seeking for warmth,
of affection and love.
